As the meaning suggests, this name is a "hidden blessing". It has a beautiful meaning and pronunciation if you can dig deeper than the surface and truly discover what this name means. "Amporn" isn't the only transcription of the beautiful Thai name "อําพร", so in an English-speaking country I would advise using a different spelling (maybe Amphon), but that shouldn't stop you from using a name like this.

Could definitely be considered pretty to a Thai, but for obvious reasons, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone not from Thailand.
