Amilcare Zanella (September 26, 1873 - January 9, 1949) was an Italian composer. Zanella's compositional output consisted mainly of orchestral and chamber works. During his career he was also well-regarded as a pianist.

Amilcare Cipriani (October 18, 1844 in Anzio – April 30, 1918 in Paris) was an Italian socialist, anarchist and patriot. He was elected deputy of the new Italian Chamber of Deputies (and subsequently re-elected eight times) but was unable to claim his seat because he refused to swear an oath of allegiance to the King. In 1891, he was among the delegates to the conference which established the short-lived Socialist Revolutionary Anarchist Party. He supported Peter Kropotkin's view on WW1.

Amilcare Ponchielli (1834-1886) was an Italian composer, largely of operas. The most famous (indeed, the only one regularly performed today) is La Gioconda, which contains the famous Dance of the Hours.
