Alexey Pajitnov (Aleksey Pazhitnov/Алексей Пажитнов) (1956-) is a Russian game programmer, well known for creating the famous abstract game "Tetris" in 1984.
I know it's a boy's name, but when it's pronounced, it sounds like Alexi (aka, a girl's name). Although one of the boy's in my class had this name. I guess the name is ok, but it just sounds feminine. Not that I'd ever give it to a daughter of mine.
