Not a fan of the spelling.
I think Alen is an adorable name because of the way it's spelled, and it's the name of a character in a story I'm writing.
Pronounced AHL-enn (short AH) [noted -ed]
My cousin's name and a name of couple of my friends. I actually love it and if it wasn't so common here in Croatia, I'd use it. I also love the female form Alena, which is not very common and I'd use it without any troubles.
