As someone with this name it is pronounced like Erin.
Like all names, the pronunciation is subjective. There are words in English with the beginning being Aero (pronounced arrow) so I don't know why some people say with such confidence that it's pronounced the way THEY think it's pronounced. The parents decide that. I for one see it as another another Aaron or Erin.
It sounds like EYE-ron, so it's not pronounced the same as Aaron.
I looked it up to see if it was here and it is, my name is Aeron and I am part Welsh but not much.
Looks like a misspelling of Aaron, but I do enjoy the meaning.

Seems likely to be the Welsh form of Aaron.
What a nice name. I can see it being used effectively for both sexes, though the spelling looks a little more masculine to me. It's lovely.
I personally pronounce it as air-in, but it is subjective.
I say it as ay-rin.
Aeron Greyjoy is a minor POV character in A Song of Ice and Fire. A half-mad prophet/priest.
