My friend’s little sister is named Adelyn. I do think the name is pretty but it also sounds very childish and wouldn’t age well in my opinion. You can’t really imagine a 50 year old with this name.

Recent discovery of mine, and I realize I really like Adelyn. In fact, I like most names stemming from Adele, but Adelyn has a less ambiguous pronunciation than Adeline.

While I much prefer Madelyn (as Adelyn (Ad-uh-lynn) feels like it's missing a first letter (M). It is a lovely name. I know a girl with this name and it fits her. Will age well but prepare to be corrected with "Madelyn?". Beautiful meaning "noble, kind."
