Adamanta

Adamanta Took, née Chubb was a hobbit of the Shire.

Adamanta was born in TA 2817 (SR 1217). She was the wife of Gerontius "The Old" Took. Adamanta and Gerontius had a large family, Adamanta becoming the mother of Isengrim III Took, Hildigard Took, Isumbras IV Took, Hildigrim Took, Isembold Took, Hildifons Took, Isembard Took, Hildibrand Took, Belladonna (Took) Baggins, Donnamira (Boffin) Took, Mirabella (Took) Brandybuck and Isengar Took. She died in TA 2923 (SR 1323).
