Ah, yes. Adalberto. It is quite possibly one of my most favorite names. I have a hard time describing my feeling towards it and what I believe it stands for. The beginning spelling "Adal" has a roughness to it, but it is balanced out marvelously with the ending of "Berto". This is a name with definite possibilities. I would not be surprised to see the popularity rise. A strong name.

Adalberto Alvarez is a Cuban pianist, director and composer. After playing with Son 14 he now directs the group Adalberto Alvarez y su Son.

I always think of "Adalbert the Eel" in Fritzi Fisch, that little kids' computer game.! (Or Freddy Fish in the American version) Even with the "O" it's hard to shake the image.
