Why would you spend your time naming your child this because I can't even spell it on a keyboard.

This is a French name used by French people who would supposedly know the proper shortcuts on their computers to type an 'ë', because they are used more frequently in their language. Even if it's spelt by someone who doesn't know how to type such a character, spelling the name Abigaelle would be too much of a big deal.

Needlessly complicated, you can just name your child Abigaïl if you want it to look cool.

To the person under me, how do you not realize that this is French? Can’t you read and comprehend? It’s the spelling of those who speak french. Obviously.
