This name is a cognitive of both Abdiel and Obadiah both meaning servants of god.
Nice name in Muslim culture.
عبد ('abd) does not mean "servant of". It simply means "servant". [noted -ed] The "of" part is usually reflected by 'ullah' meaning "of God", which is what you see in Abdullah:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ullah (in English)

https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/%D8%B9%D8%A8%D8%AF%D8%A7%D9%84%D9%84%D9%87#Persian (in English)This is lacking in Abd Allah and therefore the "of" part is technically implied. This implication should not change the literal meaning of عبد ('abd). Also see:https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/%D8%B9%D8%A8%D8%AF#Arabic (in English)

I don't know if this is common in other cultures, but where I live (America) it seems kinda too stand-out-ish. Not that the meaning is bad (I know "Elizabeth" basically means the same thing) but it just really stands out. Maybe it's the hyphen that makes me think that. Which I guess could be taken out.
This name has such a strong meaning, and is bold. But the only nickname I can see is "Al" and that would be elimating the "God" from the name.
