How come some names don't create links to name definitions? The name Rhoswen for example, is on the website but does not create a highlighted name link.

In messages the site will only make highlighted links to names in the main database, not in the submitted database.
Why can't submitted names have highlighted links too?
As was mentioned, there is the accuracy issue. Submitted names are also much more likely to be deleted/moved, which could result in dead links.
Probably because not all of the submitted names are checked for accuracy so we can't always know if they're actual names. If you want, you could ask Mike if he could change it. You might be able to convince him to do it for fully verified submitted names.
