Year 1
Saoirse and Matthias weren't planning on having a baby so soon after they married, especially since they had just moved from the U.S. to Ireland! But their first child, a girl, was born just a week shy of their one-year anniversary. Kerensa Niamh has green eyes and Matthias' curly black hair.
Year 2
Saoirse began to volunteer for a local organization on her days off. She helps distribute food and clothing to children who live in impoverished rural areas.
Year 3
Matthias and Saoirse had their second child, another daughter. Fiona Isabel has curly blond hair and brown eyes.
Year 4
Saoirse found out again that she was pregnant - this time with quadruplets! George Ronan has straight red hair and hazel eyes, Keegan Lucas has curly blond hair and green eyes, Percy William has wavy blond hair and brown eyes, and MN RS has wavy blond hair and green eyes.
Year 5
With the birth of the quads last year, the Brights' home is tight on space. They moved into a house with room for their family of eight.
Year 6
Matthias and Saoirse. packed up their kids to visit Matthias's parents and siblings in the U.S. They also attended Iris's high school graduation ceremony.
Year 7
Saoirse got promoted to assistant manager at the lab she works at.
Year 8
Saoirse got Matthias and Kerensa to start helping at the rural assistance program she has been volunteering at for the past several years (when she's had time, anyways).
Year 9
Saoirse and Matthias got the kids a pet turtle, which they named Pokey.
Year 10
Matthias competed for the first time in a cook-off. His dishes beat out those from many other pubs for first place and people's choice! He was so happy
Year 11
His confidence boosted by the cook-off last year, Matthias opened his own restaurant and pub.
Year 12
Saoirse gave birth to their seventh child, a girl. Tamsin Aisling has curly black hair and blue eyes.
Year 13
Matthias's pub won an award for being the best new local restaurant.
Year 14
Fiona developed an interest in animals, so the family adopted a goat, which she named Maisy. She wants to learn how to make cheese from goat milk.
Year 15
The Brights again visited Matthias's family in the U.S., this time to celebrate Henry's wedding.
