Daniel has a cousin, Alexandra, who recently moved in next door to us. Neither of us can stand her, as she is very disapproving of Daniel's decision to join the Navy Seals and has stated her opinion in some very assertive ways. In addition to this, she has decided she needs to teach Lillian how to care for Eleanor by herself once Daniel returns to active duty next week. Lillian is not at all pleased with being told how to care for her own child, and Daniel is furious that he has to abandon his wife and daughter to the "old hag" in just six more days. To make matters even worse, Alexandra has decided to insist Lillian and Eleanor attend a barbeque with her every other weekend, despite the fact that Lillian is attempting to complete a masters' degree in secondary education while caring for a two-week-old infant. Luckily, Lillian's busy schedule will mean she should be able to escape most of these gatherings.
