I didn't know if I should explain it in the originial post or not. thanks for asking.
ok, here goes...
Louise is the feminine form of Louis, which is the French form of Ludwig which means "famous warrior". while Maeve means "intoxicating" in Irish legend it was also the name of warrior queen Connacht. so a stretch? yes, very much so. but it is related. :)
