Someone should’ve seen it coming. D’Or Baie has gone to war with Warta. Hilaire leads D’Or Baie’s forces, whilst Acting Regent Leszek leads Warta’s. The war is painfully long and many die from both sides, but in the end, Hilaire wins and finally conquers Warta, redeeming himself from his failure years before. Leszek dies, and Bartek is named the new regent.
However, Hilaire chooses to spare the young prince Bartek and allows him to keep his throne on the condition that he swears loyalty to him. Bartek reluctantly agrees.

Philippe, the Duc of Chée, is assassinated. The assassin is a man from Warta’s army, who sought vengeance against Roi Hilaire for killing Leszek. The man is sentenced to life in prison after a brief trial. Afterwards, Hilaire begins to have several of his guardsmen patrol the streets outside of the main residence. Reine Nadège is devastated by the death of the Duc.

When her husband had a child with her former lady-in-waiting, the Reine Nadège decided to adopt the baby and raise him alongside her children, and for several years, Prince Nazaire had never learned of the truth…until now. He hears rumors about his birth, hears comments about how he does not resemble the woman he calls “mother,” and in an attempt to get them to stop, he approaches his parents about them. To his shock, they end up telling him that it is all true. Nazaire becomes angered and demands to meet the woman who’d given birth to him. The Reine eventually caves in to his orders, and sends out a search party to bring Arnaude Masson back to the palace. Unfortunately, they discover that Arnaude had died about two years ago, a poor and broken woman.
It leads to a bitter argument between Nazaire and Nadège. Nazaire believes that the Reine was a selfish witch who refused to sympathize with her friend, and who basically allowed her husband to avoid receiving any sort of consequence for his actions. He blames her for Arnaude’s death, and refuses to forgive her. From that point on, Nadège becomes estranged from her adoptive son.

After his falling-out with his adoptive mother, Prince Nazaire looks for other female members of his father’s court for solace. He eventually meets and befriends the Duc of Chée’s widow, Marcelle.
Although the Duchesse sympathizes with Nazaire’s estrangement, since she herself never had a good relation with her own mother, Marcelle isn’t sure what she should do about the prince. She eventually decides to introduce him to her two daughters, Philomène and Sophie.

Marcellin becomes ill. The crown prince suffers dreadfully, and his family struggles to deal with the possibility that they might lose him. It is especially hard for Nazaire, since he is closest in age to his biological half-brother, and would have to become king of D’Or Baie should he pass away. Fortunately, Marcellin manages to make a slow recovery, and everyone is relieved.

With Roi Hilaire getting on in years, and only one of his children already married off, he and Nadège become insistent that a marriage of any sort must be made with their sons.
Eventually, one is reached: Tsar Boris II, who has always been on good terms with Hilaire, offers his youngest daughter Svetlana’s hand in marriage to either Marcellin or Nazaire. Although Svetlana finds herself becoming attracted to Nazaire, Hilaire and Nadège make it clear to her that she must become Marcellin’s wife, since he will be king one day, and a king must have a wife before he takes the throne. The betrothal is announced, and the marriage is set to take place in a year.
Svetlana has wavy light brown hair and gray eyes.

The younger of the two princes has wavy dark brown hair and blue eyes, just like his mother. He is given the name of Timothy Oliver Patrick Anthony Gordon. Although the mother is doing fine after having three children, doctors advise her and her husband to not have anymore children, for fear that Alexandra will die in childbirth.

Another princess is born, but it’s not exactly a happy occasion. After he was introduced to the late Duc of Chée's daughters by his widowed wife, Nazaire found himself wiling away the hours with both, most notably with the older daughter, Philomène. Their private indiscretions eventually led to the birth of the new princess, named Aimée Joceline Georgette Sophie.
Princess Aimée has red hair like her mother and hazel eyes like her father. Hilaire and Nadège are shocked by Nazaire’s actions, while the Duchesse of Chée feels betrayed by the young man she had befriended. It is practically a repeat of Hilaire’s own indiscretions with Arnaude Masson. After conferring with one another, it is decided that Philomène and Nazaire cannot be with each other anymore. Philomène is sent away to live with relatives, while Nazaire is forced to enlist in the military. Meanwhile, baby Aimée is given to a childless noble couple by Nadège to raise as their daughter.

When her husband had a child with her former lady-in-waiting, the Reine Nadège decided to adopt the baby and raise him alongside her children, and for several years, Prince Nazaire had never learned of the truth…until now. He hears rumors about his birth, hears comments about how he does not resemble the woman he calls “mother,” and in an attempt to get them to stop, he approaches his parents about them. To his shock, they end up telling him that it is all true. Nazaire becomes angered and demands to meet the woman who’d given birth to him. The Reine eventually caves in to his orders, and sends out a search party to bring Arnaude Masson back to the palace. Unfortunately, they discover that Arnaude had died about two years ago, a poor and broken woman.
It leads to a bitter argument between Nazaire and Nadège. Nazaire believes that the Reine was a selfish witch who refused to sympathize with her friend, and who basically allowed her husband to avoid receiving any sort of consequence for his actions. He blames her for Arnaude’s death, and refuses to forgive her. From that point on, Nadège becomes estranged from her adoptive son.

After his falling-out with his adoptive mother, Prince Nazaire looks for other female members of his father’s court for solace. He eventually meets and befriends the Duc of Chée’s widow, Marcelle.
Although the Duchesse sympathizes with Nazaire’s estrangement, since she herself never had a good relation with her own mother, Marcelle isn’t sure what she should do about the prince. She eventually decides to introduce him to her two daughters, Philomène and Sophie.

Marcellin becomes ill. The crown prince suffers dreadfully, and his family struggles to deal with the possibility that they might lose him. It is especially hard for Nazaire, since he is closest in age to his biological half-brother, and would have to become king of D’Or Baie should he pass away. Fortunately, Marcellin manages to make a slow recovery, and everyone is relieved.

With Roi Hilaire getting on in years, and only one of his children already married off, he and Nadège become insistent that a marriage of any sort must be made with their sons.
Eventually, one is reached: Tsar Boris II, who has always been on good terms with Hilaire, offers his youngest daughter Svetlana’s hand in marriage to either Marcellin or Nazaire. Although Svetlana finds herself becoming attracted to Nazaire, Hilaire and Nadège make it clear to her that she must become Marcellin’s wife, since he will be king one day, and a king must have a wife before he takes the throne. The betrothal is announced, and the marriage is set to take place in a year.
Svetlana has wavy light brown hair and gray eyes.

The older of the two princes has wavy blond hair and green eyes, just like his sister and father. He is named Robert Daniel Louis Edgar Alexander.
The younger of the two princes has wavy dark brown hair and blue eyes, just like his mother. He is given the name of Timothy Oliver Patrick Anthony Gordon. Although the mother is doing fine after having three children, doctors advise her and her husband to not have anymore children, for fear that Alexandra will die in childbirth.

Another princess is born, but it’s not exactly a happy occasion. After he was introduced to the late Duc of Chée's daughters by his widowed wife, Nazaire found himself wiling away the hours with both, most notably with the older daughter, Philomène. Their private indiscretions eventually led to the birth of the new princess, named Aimée Joceline Georgette Sophie.
Princess Aimée has red hair like her mother and hazel eyes like her father. Hilaire and Nadège are shocked by Nazaire’s actions, while the Duchesse of Chée feels betrayed by the young man she had befriended. It is practically a repeat of Hilaire’s own indiscretions with Arnaude Masson. After conferring with one another, it is decided that Philomène and Nazaire cannot be with each other anymore. Philomène is sent away to live with relatives, while Nazaire is forced to enlist in the military. Meanwhile, baby Aimée is given to a childless noble couple by Nadège to raise as their daughter.

Something is keeping me from posting the last years of this. So I'll summarize.
Hilaire and Nadège grow old. Marcellin has trouble with his wife Sergine. Pascal gets married, Nazaire becomes a respected military officer, and Alexandrine's husband dies. Babies are born, Pascal has to marry his mistress, and crazy shit happens in between.
It ends in year 50, when Prince Marcellin becomes ill and eventually dies, and his eldest daughter Jeanette becomes queen when her grandparents both die.
I hope this game gets a continuation!
