***Have changed the story somewhat! Written from the perspective of Aphrodite whom i imagine to be a stereotypical ditzy cheerleader type, to Are's quaterback jock.
Aphrodite, goddess of love, beauty, passion, reveared for her looks and long golden hair... well that's the public face of her anyway! In truth, Dite is vain, selfish, cunning and frankly a bitch! When her father, Zeus, married her off to her first husband Hephaestus, she was furious! Hephaestus was just SO boring, I mean, god of SMITHING?! Lame!!! So Dite security had lovers behind her husbands back, and one in particular she got quite attached to, Ares god of War (so so so much hotter than boring old Hephaestus!). Sure Ares was Hephaestus's brother, but hey, all's fair in love and war right (especially when Aphrodite is love, and Ares is war!).
Evenutally Hera got tired of looking at the ugly face of Hephaestus and cast him from olympis, thus freeing Dite of her bore of a husband, and was free to marry again which she did promptly with Ares.
