Mythology Congrats Sign up
So I am going to give this a shot.
We have had themed congrats, story congrats, and kingdom congrats I would like to try a mythology congrats. Writing will be involved so if your story shy beware.
The first sign up will dictate which mythological dieties we will be following for example (someone picks Zesus and Hera) then we will all have Greek dieties. Your spouse may be true to myth or not (ie, Zesus and Callisto a human) or your own made up human. Mistresses are fine.
Tell us about your couple, their appearance, traits, attitudes etc.

***Have changed the story somewhat! Written from the perspective of Aphrodite whom i imagine to be a stereotypical ditzy cheerleader type, to Are's quaterback jock.
Aphrodite, goddess of love, beauty, passion, reveared for her looks and long golden hair... well that's the public face of her anyway! In truth, Dite is vain, selfish, cunning and frankly a bitch! When her father, Zeus, married her off to her first husband Hephaestus, she was furious! Hephaestus was just SO boring, I mean, god of SMITHING?! Lame!!! So Dite security had lovers behind her husbands back, and one in particular she got quite attached to, Ares god of War (so so so much hotter than boring old Hephaestus!). Sure Ares was Hephaestus's brother, but hey, all's fair in love and war right (especially when Aphrodite is love, and Ares is war!).
Evenutally Hera got tired of looking at the ugly face of Hephaestus and cast him from olympis, thus freeing Dite of her bore of a husband, and was free to marry again which she did promptly with Ares.

Aeneas is a strong-willed, strong-hearted, strong-minded young man. With his black hair and blue eyes (made-up, of course), Aeneas is a charming young man.
Elpis is a quiet, studious, gentle, maternal young woman. With her long reddish-blonde curls and hazel eyes, she charms all whom she meets. Many a young man has wanted her for their own.

DH: Paris (25)
DW: Helen (19)
Helen'sDD: Hermione "Mione" (5)
Helen'sDS: Pleisthenes "Pleis" (1)
So rather than how the story actually went, this is how it will go for this story to work:
It has been a few months since Helen eloped with Paris and took her two young children along for the ride. She was hesitant to take them because she worried how they would react to being away from the familiar, but her little ones have adapted really well and have come to love their stepfather. Well, possibly only Hermione's stepfather because Helen is not so sure who is Pleis's father, it has to be either Paris or Menelaus (her now ex husband).
Helen has also found that Paris is much smarter than he lets on. Rather than returning to Troy to live as everyone thought they had, they instead embarked on a journey across the sea, hoping to reach a faraway land where their identities would be unknown to all the locals.
So far, they have not found the place, so whenever they get off the ship, it is only for a brief time and they do not take the children, for they do not want Mione and Pleis to be in anymore danger than they are already in.
The ship they are living on, thanks to Helen's cleverness, is a cargo ship. That means that when the ship is docked no one can tell that their is royalty on board. The inside of the ship is also much nicer than an onlooker would believe.
The crew of the ship is very much loyal to Paris. There is a captain, five sailors, one cook, two nannies, and a maid. Paris and Helen treat them kindly and have grown to think of them as a family of some sort.
Odysseus is the captain of the ship, Penelope is one of the nannies, and Telemachus is a sailor

{Legend - Artemis falls in love and decides she will break her vow of celibacy to marry Orion, Apollo becomes angry and tricks Artemis into shooting Orion while he was swimming.
I'm changing that for story's sake and instead Artemis and Orion marry but he is still not a God and will die eventually.}
Artemis is an extremely stubborn brunette who has recently abandoned her post as one of the virgin goddesses to be with the only man she has ever loved, Orion. Orion was an excellent hunter in her group until he fell for Artemis but had no hope of her returning his love until she surprised by confessing. The pair now live together in Greece, with Artemis under disguise of course, as they await the Olympians decision on whether or not to allow Artemis to continue being a main goddess.
