We have found four children for you.
Mackenzie Evan [16] and Cassidy Everett [12]
Mackenzie and Cassidy are brothers from Limerick, Ireland. They have been in the system for 8 years- since their single mother passed away (Their father left when Cassidy was born). Mackenzie has made sure that the two have stayed together even though their older sister was adopted earlier. They would like to stay in contact with her- she lives near Cork with her adoptive family. Mackenzie is very protective of Cassidy- or Cassi as Mackenzie has pet named him. Cassidy is quite severly autistic. He has very little speech and is at the level of about a kindergartener educational wise. Cassi can complete simple tasks and can follow step-by-step instructions. Cassi is very close with his brother and will need to be in the same bedroom with him. Mackenzie doesn't mind this at all and, in fact, has been a great help to Cassidy's improvements in language, social skills, and general skills. Both boys enjoy playing sports. Cassi loves football and his favorite position is goalie. Mackenzie, on his own, is quite a sociable boy and has many friends and has had a number of girlfriends. However, he puts his brother before any of them and often does not hang out with them out of school if Cassi was having a bad day, etc. In his bad times, Cassidy hides in corners and has the bad habit to band his head against the wall. To calm him, Mackenzie sings to him- Cassi loves music and knows how to sing hundreds of songs (which seems strange as he doesn't speak well). Mackenzie loves to skateboard and knows a large number of tricks on his board and on bikes. Mackenzie can be weary of strangers and doesn't trust others with his brothers very well.
Shani Aamina [6]
Shani is a sweet girl who lost her parents in riot in her home town in Morocco. Shani speaks Arabic, French, and is learning English.

Thank you for giving me these woderful children! It has been one year since you gave them to us.
Mackenzie is still very protective of Cassi. Cassi has improved but is still having a lot of the same problems and the doctors say he will never completely improve. Cassi and Mackenzie are both playing football and enjoy playing with each other after school and almost any other time they get the chance. Even Sammie plays with them sometimes even though she is not a big football fan. Sammie has become almost as protective of Cassi as Mackenzie is. They have been keeping in touch with their sister as much as possible and even Sammie has started talking to her. Mackenzie has started to trust his new family more with Cassi and has started to do more for himself even though he still spends a lot of time with him.
Shani has also been doing a lot better. She doesn't wet the bed as much any more and we have been able to help with the memory of the riot whenever it happens to come up. She is adjusting well to the new situation and has made many new friends at school. She enjoys helping her friends with their school work and we almost always have to stop her from giving away the answers. She also enjoys playing with Andreea and making her laugh.
Andreea has started talking alot more and enjoys every bit of it. She enjoys playing with Shani and the others. Cassi has made a special friend in her. She loves to have tea parties and play dress up even when no one else can play with her.
thank you again for these amazing children.
