Re: Veruca

Hmmm well with most names there are ways to make fun of them and if there are no ways to make fun of their name mean kids and people will still pick on them some other way if not through their name. So I always say if you like a name, name them that except in some cases, like when I heard about this lady naming her daughter Placenta. Not many people are going to know that Verruca is a kind of wart or hillock. But most people know what a Placenta is. Here is the full definition though of Verruca, not Veruca.
Main Entry: ver·ru·ca
Pronunciation: v&-'rü-k&
Function: noun
Inflected Form(s): plural ver·ru·cae /-(")kE, -"kI, -"sI/
Etymology: Latin, wart, hillock; akin to Lithuanian virsus summit and probably to Old English wearte wart -- more at WART
1 : a wart or warty skin lesion
2 : a warty elevation on a plant or animal surface
