Are you perhaps of
German descent?
If so, try this:
Eugen is the
German male version of
Eugene. A fem version of that, in French, would be
Eugenie like the empress. And if that was used in
German (and I bet it could be), then Genele would be a fem diminutive and would be pronounced like your name, with the final e making a separate syllable. But to make things easier for non-German speakers, it could just as easily be changed to an a - Genela!
Of course, this does assume that you pronounce it with the G of
Gareth, not the G of
George ...
