Kobber means "copper". And it's absolutely no ancient name, at least no first name, from Jutland since it's something. I should know since I'm from the middle of Jutland (Or Jylland). Born, bred, raised and lived here my entire life. And Hjørring (Hjorring or Hjoerring) is in the north of Jylland.
And it's no last name either. I don't really know where they got Kobber from, because I've only heard it used in the sense, that it's a metallic art. It might be a local thing up there, but I doubt it.
