I used to not like Claudia, but now it seems vintage in a frilly and warm way without being too girly.
I love Olivia. Its lively and pretty.
I'm tired of hearing Vanessa. It feels like a default name.

I'm also gen-z, and at least for me growing up...the name Vanessa was everywhere! I do really enjoy the name, however. Yes, I'm in the USA, lol.

Interesting.. I guess it could be based solely on the demographics of the area we grew up in? I went to school with a lot of Emily's lol.

The United States. It may not be as common in real life as it was, but it was on TV a lot. I watched TV all the time as a kid, so I picked up on names that came up often. Thats why even though Bob is not anywhere near as common anymore, I still see it as a "default" name. Numerous Bobs on TV, normally older men. The Vanessa's were always young.

I see. I consume a lot of pop culture too but I honestly never hear it. I mostly think of Vanessa Hudgens. Definitely hear Olivia in pop culture a lot though especially lately. Olivia Rodrigo, Olivia Hussey, Olivia Benson, Olivia Pope, Olivia Wilde, Olivia Newton-John..
