Re: What do you think of the following girl names?

Bernadette, very Catholic. I see this name often in the Catholic community.
Darla is darling! Beautiful underrated name!
Bye bye Felicia. It’s a bit lispy, if that’s a word. On paper it looks very pretty, but I prefer Felicity
Jeanette, the French pronunciation is stunning. The English prn is a let down.
Melinda, probably my least favourite Linda name although I can’t say why.
Nadia, a chunky name to say. I don’t like it. I do really like Nadine.
Odessa - an exotic beauty
Shannon - I love as boys name, not so much as a feminine name.

Interesting! I'll have to ask the Bernadette I know if she's Catholic, LOL.
Bernadette of Lourdes saw apparitions of Mary who told her to build a chapel at the nearby cave. I think that’s why so many Catholics are named Bernadette (first or middle).
