Bernadette - idk why but i have a soft spot for this name, reminds me of the smell of a small amount of smoke.
Darla - Honestly indifferent, and a bit overrated.
Felicia - Prefer Felicity but not bad.
Jeanette - I like it.
Melinda - I dislike it.
Nadia - Overrated, but not horrible.
Odessa - Meh.
Shannon - Same as Odessa.
I dislike Odessa and Bernadette. I like all the other ones except for Melinda. I LOVE Melinda.
Bernadette isn't a name that I care for, but it is better than other names.Darla is a really pretty name.I love the way Felicia sounds in every pronunciation. Jeanette sounds pretty, but I prefer the spelling of Jenette.Melinda is a gorgeous name that deserves more recognition.Nadia is enchantingly beautiful, and has an wonderful meaning.Odessa is a very pretty and unique name.Shannon has always had a soft spot, in my eyes; I love the way that it sounds.
- Bernadette
Beautiful. It's like smoky and sophisticated. I hate Bernie. Indifferent to Etta.- Darla
It's really sweet. I really don't hate it. I think it's quite darling. Perhaps a sweet middle name.- Felicia
Back and forth with this one. The meme ruined it for a while but now it's irrelevant. Loved it for a moment. It's still nice but not really noteworthy. I think I like Felicity more.- Jeanette
Very plain and average honestly but that somehow makes it endearing? It's earthy and pretty, no frills. Girl-next-door vibes.- Melinda
Blech. Melinda, Belinda, Melissa…I hate them all. I don't like Linda either. They're all matronly and nasally and highly annoying.- Nadia
Gorgeous. Dark and alluring but not in a weird way? I can see it on someone of all ages. Mysterious air almost. A gem.- Odessa
Texas. Odette and Odile hold so much more weight. Vapid quality. An empty shell.- Shannon
Pretty. 70's. Shan is cute. Still works today imo. I've been digging Channing lately.
I really like Nadia, I think it's classy and beautiful in many languages The others are not my style
Bernadette, very Catholic. I see this name often in the Catholic community. Darla is darling! Beautiful underrated name!Bye bye Felicia. It’s a bit lispy, if that’s a word. On paper it looks very pretty, but I prefer FelicityJeanette, the French pronunciation is stunning. The English prn is a let down.Melinda, probably my least favourite Linda name although I can’t say why. Nadia, a chunky name to say. I don’t like it. I do really like Nadine.Odessa - an exotic beautyShannon - I love as boys name, not so much as a feminine name.
Interesting! I'll have to ask the Bernadette I know if she's Catholic, LOL.
Bernadette of Lourdes saw apparitions of Mary who told her to build a chapel at the nearby cave. I think that’s why so many Catholics are named Bernadette (first or middle).
Bernadette - I don't like it. because I don't like the -ette ending.
Darla - NMS/I think it has a mid 20th century feel.
Felicia - Personally, I tend to pronounce the “cia” part of Felicia as see-ah./I don't like names starting with F except for Francis, so NMS
Jeanette - Same opinion as Bernadette
Melinda - neutral, uninterested in either good or bad
Nadia - Same opinion as Melinda
Odessa - I don't like female names starting with O
Shannon - My favorite name, The sound is pretty and suits all genders. I hope it makes a comeback.
