My mother was a Shrek & Fiona fan. If you asked her what favorite Disney characters were, it was always Fiona and Tinkerbell.
At first, I wanted to name my first daughter Fiona Belle, then my mom passed away in 2018. I knew I wanted to honor her somehow and my first thought was Fiona Krislynn (her name was Kristol Lynn). Hating the name Lynn because it's so overused, I decided I would just use Kristol, which is why I chose Fiona Kristol.
Cody lost his mom is 2013, we were playing with names one-day and he said his favorite name was Shiloh. Our moms were best friends so we figured use them for twins. We decided to use Shiloh Kelly to honor his mom (Kelly Jo). Fiona is green and Kelly is a name for green so we decided on them for twins. I know it probably doesn't make sense but it somehow does to us.
