*THESE ARE TWIN NAMES I HAVE CAME ACROSS IN SCHOOL, OR I AM RELATED TOO, ETC*
Mallory & Kerston (girls)
Cody & Caleb (boys)
Mary & Laura (girls)
Sarah & Ezra (girl & boy)
Marshall & Randall (boys)
Alexnadira & Cierra (girls)
Molly & Polly (girls)
Piper & Valerie (girls)
Kelsey & Chelsea (girls)
Matthew & Michael (boys)
Tabitha & Tanner (girl & boy)
Harleigh & Haleigh (girls)
Tatum & Tylen (girl & boy)
Addison & Brooklyn (girls)
Mitchell & Tyler (boys)
Jacob & Jackson (boys)
Vivan & Vanessa (girls)
Vanessa & Vince (girl & boy)
Jessica & Jedidiah (girl & boy)Name some twins you've met or names you've considered in case you were to have twins.
The only ones we have thought of are Fiona Kristol + Shiloh Kelly (girls) to honor our moms. Twins run in both of our families so its a possibility we could have twins at some point.

The only one I really like is Mitchell and Tyler. I don't like matchy names for twins and would just name them my favorite names as if they were singletons. Some twins I know:
Colleen and Bridget
Steven and Gary and Allison and Elizabeth (siblings- the boys are twins and the girls are twins
Samantha and Tabitha
Maverick and Lincoln (mom is pregnant with twins again, girls this time)
Adeline and Braelynn
Paul and Kristi
Prinley and Lemon
Katey and Kylie
Sydney and Josie
Sonya and Donna
Suzy and Deanne
Brittany and Brent
Megan and Matthew
Dylan and Miranda
Theodore and Ethan and Jovie and Zemira (siblings, boys are twins and girls are twins)
And I had a girl in my class in jr. high who came from a family of 14 and had three sets of twins: Rhonda and Rodney, Brionna and Trionna and Iesha and Laqueesha *facepalm*

Is Iesha pronounced I-E-shuh?
I went to school with a girl names Aisha that pronounced it like that.

Todd and Melissa (b/g)
Jack and Jill (yes, really. They were family like two generations back)
Ronnie and Connie (boys)
Addyson and Alyssa (girls)
Tara and Jennifer (believe it or not, they’re only about 5)
Everly and Calder (g/b)
Jaden and Jeremiah (boys)
Reign and Violette (b/g)
Willow and Violet (girls)I like alliteration, so I like it when names start with the same letter. Names I considered 10+years ago with ours
Hudson and Hunter
Denver and Dakota
Audrey and AbigailQuite honestly I’m pleased with the names we settled on. I still love them now. So glad we didn’t use any of those we considered!

I've met siblings named Jackson & Jillian nn's Jack and Jill.
I like Denver and Dakota though I like Dekota/Dekotah better.
Curious, does adding "te" to Violet change the pronunciation at all?
We love the name Violet but I kinda like the spelling Violette now.
Same with Ariel & Juliet, I love Arielle and Juliette but hate the spellings, Ariel & Juliet.
At one point, I considered using Hazel spelled Hazelle but everyone wanted to argue that it changes the name completely.

No, she was still called just “Violet”... at first I thought it would be pronounced “Vi-oh-lett” with emphasis on the last syllable, but it wasn’t.I pronounce Juliet and Juliette the same, but prefer Juliet.I do think I would pronounce Ariel and Arielle differently. I would instinctively say “Air-ee-uhl “ for Ariel, but “Air-ee-elle “ for Arielle.I do think Hazelle changes the name. I would say it with an “elle “ on the end instead of “Haze-uhl “

I guess it is just my southern accent but I say Arielle and Hazelle with the "elle".
vote up1
Probably:)
My in laws are very southern and a lot of words they say very differently than I do, being a Northern girl.

Molly and Polly are stupid, as are Harleigh and Haleigh. I don't get why people feel the need to give twins matchy names. Some of the twins I know of:
Eric & Oscar (two sets of them actually)
Elin & Martin
Ellika & Cassandra
Liam & Oscar
Lowe & Tiloo
Two sets of triplets that I know personally;
Alexander, Sebastian & Linus
Sandra, Dejan & BojanAnd a third set of triplets that I follow on instagram;
Lexi, Haylie & Milly

I like these ones:
Mallory & Kerston (girls) - Kerston looks like a boy name but I'd like Mallory & Kirsten or something like that
Mary & Laura (girls)
Sarah & Ezra (girl & boy)
Alexnadira & Cierra (girls) (assuming that's a typo for Alexandria)
Matthew & Michael (boys)
I haven't met that many twins... these are the ones I can remember:
Robert (Bob) & Linda (my dad & his twin)
Christopher (Chris) & Stephen (American pronunciation)
Alyssa & Briana (might have been some different spelling)
Megan & Cody
Barrett & Braxton

Matthew and Michael are girl twins? The only twin set I like from this list is Piper and Valerie. That sounds like the parents just used two names they really liked, and they didn't try to have some twin-y theme. Well, I guess you could say the same for some others, but that's the only set *I* like. I don't think I know any twins, and they don't run in my family. My great-grandfather was a twin, but I don't know his brother's name. He died when they were very young.
vote up1
No, that was a typo, sorry, I fixed it!
Piper and Valerie are my "stepbrothers" twin girls. (the reason for the " " is because my mom was married to his dad but his dad didn't adopt me. Josh had no say in their names nor his other two kids Hunter and Finley. Desiree made all decisions on everything from naming the kids to what he could eat or wear.

How many sets of twins are in your family?
vote up1
In my actual blood-related family, 8 but I don't know all of their names.
From the list;Marshall & Randall
-my grandfather's sister's grandkids. Cody & Caleb
-my 2nd cousins on my dad's sideMitchell & Tyler
-my 2nd cousins on my mom's sideIsacc Isaiah & Isabella Ilene
-my 1st cousins on my mom's side
-Isacc was stillborn
- Isabella died from SIDS at 3 weeks old
-This is actually why Isaiah is on my listKennedy & Kendra
-my half-sisters (from bio-dad; I don't claim them because he left when I was 2-years-old and has 7 other kids that he walked out on but he kept them)
-Kennedy is still alive, she's 15 now.
-Kendra passed away at 9 from a ruptured brain aneurysm

Molly & Polly, Kelsey & Chelsea...
I'd hate to have a twin whose name rhymed with mine. I dislike a lot of those names even individually.I somewhat like Ezra, Tabitha, and Jessica. My sister was childhood friends with fraternal twins called Monica and Carmen, and I always liked their names.Fiona and Shiloh, both with honoring names, seems balanced yet assymetrical in a way that's pleasant.

My mother was a Shrek & Fiona fan. If you asked her what favorite Disney characters were, it was always Fiona and Tinkerbell.
At first, I wanted to name my first daughter Fiona Belle, then my mom passed away in 2018. I knew I wanted to honor her somehow and my first thought was Fiona Krislynn (her name was Kristol Lynn). Hating the name Lynn because it's so overused, I decided I would just use Kristol, which is why I chose Fiona Kristol. Cody lost his mom is 2013, we were playing with names one-day and he said his favorite name was Shiloh. Our moms were best friends so we figured use them for twins. We decided to use Shiloh Kelly to honor his mom (Kelly Jo). Fiona is green and Kelly is a name for green so we decided on them for twins. I know it probably doesn't make sense but it somehow does to us.

Vivian & VanessaI don't know many twins:

I like the name Brianna even though I'm more into uncommon names and unique spellings.
