I much prefer Audrey. (M)
Whether for a guy or girl, I've just never cared much for the sound of it, though believe me I've tried. Weird how just one letter can make such a difference but it just can.
Audrey sounds more feminine and CLASSIC. Aubrey...not so much. It just doesn't amount to its beauty.

Agreed.Audrey is elegant to me, while Aubrey is stuffy and silly.

Ditto this.Aubrey is just another tryhard unisex surname name, and it's casting its ugly shadow on the lovely name Audrey.
