I think it's a very silly idea. It'll stop being cute and start being a nuisance as soon as they are old enough to respond to their names. How old is your friend? It sounds like a pregnant teenager's bright idea.
That said, the only name on the list that I even slightly like is Myra. If she wants a strong link between the girls, she could go the anagram route and have Myra and Mary. Or pick some other names that rhyme but not quite so intrusively: Bronwen, Helen, Karen, Susan ... Or perhaps she might settle for names with similar or identical meanings: Anne and Grace; Phoebe and Diana; Janet and Joanna.
