Birth announcements and horrible kre8tive spellings

Enna is legti...but I still hate it. Also, it's a boy's name.
I like Liyana, but would never use it. *blush*

What kind of fagmo names their kid Curly-Ann???
Sementha - I see "semen" when I look at this names, and I bet I'm not the only one. Her parents must hate her :-(
Liyana - Liana is much prettier, the pronounciation is obvious, so why the fuss?
Lady - the image of a collie popped into my mind...
Geen - Geena is a bad alternative to Gina, this is even worse.
Nahomi - Naomi is better.
Lavinnja - Lavinia would be fine.
Enna - nice
Curly-Ann - OMG, what is next?
some interesting names:
Fjolla - seems to be a contraction of a fjord and a name...
Maelle - reminds me of miel (French for honey) for a reason.
Okka - nms
Frisa - I like this one!
Melf - I picture a big, hairy, purple animal :-)
Phileas - Phileas Fogg, but a nice name!
Father: The mill's closed. There's no more work. We're destitute. I'm afraid I have no choice but to sell you all for scientific experiments.

The only ones I like are Maelle and Frisa, but the more I say Maelle out loud, the more it sounds like Male and I'm guessing this is a girls name?!
Curly-Ann is just horrible, imo.

Sementha - Mommy needs to learn how to spell.
Liyana - Awful spelling, thoguh I've seen worse.
Lady - You're right, this does sound like a pet's name.
Geen - Jean - Geesus kraist, what a horrible name.
Nahomi - This one doesn't looks as bad as other kry8tyvv spellings, but I still don't like it.
Lavinnja - Ack.
Enna - This is actually not that bad, but it's a masculin name to me.
Curly-Ann - Yee-haw. Where's Gumbo-Sue?
Fjolla - NMS
Maelle - Not bad, but not that good either.
Okka - Okko would be cute.
Frisa - NMS
Melf - NMS
Phileas - Love it. It's the name of Phileas Fogg, the main character of Verne's "Around the World in 80 Days".
So the only one I like is the adorable Phileas. The rest are just... yeah.

Since I am called Samantha I don't really like the other spelling. It looks absolutely awful. And the name lady I would perhaps use on a horse or something.
Enna is a ligitimate Irish name, not a Kre8ive spelling. the others are pretty horrible.
Nahomi and Énna are real names. Nahomi's the Xhosa form of Naomi (http://snipurl.com/m36g; I got Nahomi from another source, but I don't remember it, so this'll have to do). Énna's Irish, and I doubt it's pronounced like Emma.
I think I've seen Maelle before, but as Maëlle. I seem to recall it's French.
I only really like Maelle, and also Ann (prefer Anne). Énna's nice, but I don't know how to pronounce it, and Frisa would be OK as a mn for a Frisian girl imo.

Sementha - Ugh, that's dreadful! Any excuse to get the word "semen" in there. And it sounds like Samantha with a posh Edinburgh accent to me.
Liyana - I hate it when a 'y' is put after an 'i'. It's so redundant, and in English, really off. (Of course I don't mind it in Arabic names etc, when it's meant to be there.)
Nahomi - I wouldn't even have guessed this was Naomi. I'd want to say na-HOE-mee.
Curly-Ann - The child can't win. If she grows up with straight hair, her name will be silly. If she grows up with curly hair, her name will be distracting and funny.
I do like Maelle and Phineas :-)
