Dacey is DAY-see but Daisy is DAY-zee, with that z sound we don't have in Swedish. (which I didn't learn until I studied English at university last year ...)

I don't think it sounds like a boy's name at all. I would find it quite effeminate on a boy.
Well, I'm still stuck thinking along the Irish side of things. It strikes me as a male Irish name for some reason.
