Prissy is too prissy. And it makes me think of the character in "Gone With the Wind". And while I do love that novel, there's no doubt that it takes a racist, condescending attitude towards blacks, and nowhere is this more evident than in the character of Prissy. So overall the name leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

I like Priscilla, just not the nickname Prissy. I knew a Priscilla in high school who didn't have a nickname. She was always called Priscilla.
