Re: Philippa?
in reply to a message by JHK
I've come to love Philippa too. It took a while and the darling nn Pippa helped out a lot. But in the end what convinced me was the light, airy, staccato quality of it. It's so much fun to say out loud. It's the same bouncy joy I get from Winifred, Hilary and Cecily.Sarah puts me to sleep, sorry. She's better than any made-up name. It's just that I'd prefer something else. How about:Philippa Ines
Philippa Alix
Philippa Marion
Philippa Leonie ("LEE-uh-nee" or "LAY-uh-nee")
Philippa Tess
Philippa Charlotte (I love feminized male names together)
Philippa Eugenie
Philippa Sinead
Philippa Winter
Philippa Sonnet
Philippa Mavis
Philippa Lois
Philippa Verity
Philippa Marjorie
Philippa Damaris
Philippa Liesl
Philippa ElodieThea Philippa
Eleni Philippa
Astrid Philippa
Isla Philippa
Aisling Philippa
Lavinia Philippa
Laurentia Philippa ("lo-REN-shuh")
Margot Philippa
Bianca Philippa
Astraea Philippa
Elin Philippa
Ursula Philippa
Tatiana Philippa
Annelie PhilippaSome of these work the other way around too. Sorry for any repeats. Are there any that you like? Thanks.
