Adele is really contrived to me, I don't say it "uh-DELL-ade." I can't imagine ever calling an Adelaide "Adelle." I used to think I'd call one Della but that didn't make sense either. Whereas Addy is spunky, simple, cute, easy, and non-permanent. I'd call her Adelaide most of the time but probably Addy a lot.
