Re: Cassandra

Cassandra is nice; my dh loves it. I pronounce it cass-ANN-dra only because it feels more natural. I've only known one Cassandra. I could get used to cass-AHN-dra if I had to.
As a side note, I used to have a neighbor named Andrea. I had known her for years when she told me she pronounced her name AHN-dree-a. I asked her why she had never told me that. Weird, huh? Most people don't hesitate to correct others if their name is pronounced incorrectly. I know I don't.
