Cassandra is nice; my dh loves it. I pronounce it cass-ANN-dra only because it feels more natural. I've only known one Cassandra. I could get used to cass-AHN-dra if I had to.As a side note, I used to have a neighbor named Andrea. I had known her for years when she told me she pronounced her name AHN-dree-a. I asked her why she had never told me that. Weird, huh? Most people don't hesitate to correct others if their name is pronounced incorrectly. I know I don't.

I really like Cassandra & Kassandra and I pronounce them as ka-SAN-dra, though the ka-SAHN-dra pronunciation is nice as well : )

Ka-sand-ra.
I like this name too, eventhough I don't like Sandra (and battle with the thought of Cass /Cassie NN's)

My names Cassandra but pronounced ka-SAHN-dra, I hate it when people pronounce it ka-SAN-dra and everyone does so all day long I’m saying ka-SAHN-dra, ka-SAHN-dra not ka-SAN-dra I get so aggravated but other then people pronouncing it wrong I love my name.

Thank you for your input.
Pronounciation is one of my concerns and it seems all my fav names have that issue. Juliana/Julianna is another fav. My dh loves Talia and I like Taliah... (he says Tal-ya, I say Tahl-ee-ah) so it's hard to decide. Thanks!

I would pronounce it Ca-san-dra. It's a nice name, but really not my style. I'm not too crazy about the nn Cassie either.
