It's not Japanese (m)
in reply to a message by Sweetly Broken
I'm in Japanese as my foreign language elective in school. Japanese is broken into syllables. There's a symbol for Hi and U, but there's no such thing as a "Ry" symbol. Possibly fake Japanese, or another Asian language?

There is a syllable "ryu". I'm almost positive this is a Japanese name, fairly sure I've seen it before, too. No idea what it would mean, though, I don't speak Japanese, just know a lot about the syllabication for some reason... (language geek!)
