Hiryuu?
I vaguely know this person on a site for Christian youth. I believe it is a male name, and it is sounded out, in the user's wording, "here-ie-you." I can't tell if it's Japanese, Korean, Hawaiian, or what. Has anyone ever heard of this name? Do you know anything about it? What does it remind you of? Do you like it? For some reason it reminds me of a dragon or something...Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom!!!

It's not JapaneseI'm in Japanese as my foreign language elective in school. Japanese is broken into syllables. There's a symbol for Hi and U, but there's no such thing as a "Ry" symbol. Possibly fake Japanese, or another Asian language?

hi-ryu-uThere is a syllable "ryu". I'm almost positive this is a Japanese name, fairly sure I've seen it before, too. No idea what it would mean, though, I don't speak Japanese, just know a lot about the syllabication for some reason... (language geek!)

It looks like fake Japanese...could be wrong, but that's what it looks like."If you need us, we'll be over here, doing the 'Glad I'm An Only Child' dance." - Sam

Sounds JapaneseHiro and Hirohito are Japanese names. Hiro means "wise".- She said he made a racial slur!
- Racial? She is Swedish!
- Maybe he called her Meatball."I’ve given it a lot of thought, and I’ve decided to be spontaneous."
