I love Effie but have never been able to fall in love with Euphemia, not sure why exactly. And I like the nn Phemie.
Proserpina is fun, it’s the kind of name I like for a cat. Long, grand, a little odd and a quirky nn (Prosie, Posy, even Poppy). It could probably work on a human too but it sounds too wordy (*prose) for my taste.
