Blair - as a feminine name (I know it started out masculine, but it's so similar to Claire that I have trouble picturing it on men) - is one of those names where I love the idea of it so much more than the reality. For instance, if you were ever a Gossip Girl fan, the character of Blair Waldorf was named exceptionally well. Blair just... sounds like an Old Money NYC socialite! It oozes sophistication (if that's something that can be "oozed").
