Lorena and
Laurel tie for me. Not a fan of
Lauren.
I love
Lorena because it feels like a charmingly old fashioned history and literature nerd name to me - the song "
Lorena" was a huge craze during the American Civil War, and it was also the name of one of
Scarlett O'Hara's forgotten children in the novel Gone with the Wind. But
Laurel always struck me as a beautiful and kind of eerily Mysterious sort of name, in a beautiful dark shade of green. So if I were to use it in real life, I'd be torn. I also had a dream once where I had a daughter named
Laurel Sailor. Not really my kind of thing ordinarily, but I'm a huge sucker for the incomprehensible oracle messages of dreams. So that gives the names some powerful charm.
