I see it charted in Poland. It’s fine if that’s the case. Idk Polish but I’m guessing “bog” isn’t a word there.
From what I can tell, the English equivalent would be naming your daughter Lavinia or something that hasn’t been used that often in awhile.

Just for precisions sake, Bogumiła, and not Bogumila charted in Poland. Bogumila does not actually appear to be a form in any language.Indeed, bog isn't a word in Polish - Bogumiła comes from "Bóg", which means God.I'd say that rather than being an equivalent to naming a daughter in an English country Lavinia, it would be the equivalent to naming her Sharon or Deborah. Something recognisable, but the polar opposite of fashion forward.
