I had a Damaris colleague once, and I really like it too. Very unexpected, but familiar enough. Dumbass? Hmm ... in British English, some of us used to call her Damn Arse behind her back, but only you know what might happen in your neighbourhood! My feeling is that kids are endlessly creative and if they want to give someone a horrific nn, they'll find a way, even if her name is Jane Brown.
