Re: Sinead

I adore Sinead. If I had a girl tomorrow Sinead and Mairead would be in the running as names. I can never decide which one I love more. Sinead is lyrical, mysterious, soft yet strong at the same time. I think Sinead O-Connor has made the name sufficiently well known outside of Ireland to make it usable.
The imagery of a rose with Sinead is spot-on. But Rose is a filler mn by now. Other options:
Sinead Olivia
Sinead Pearl
Sinead Marianne / Mary
Sinead Isobel
Sinead Catriona / Cathleen
Sinead Verity
Sinead Lilith
Sinead Winter
Sinead Alice / Alix
Sinead Eveline
Sinead Althea
Sinead Eliane
Sinead Christiane
Sinead Frances / Francisca
Sinead Valerie
Sinead Emeline / Emmeline ("-leen")
Sinead Cordelia
Sinead Averill "AV-er-il," not a variant of Avril / April, althought that would make a cute, rocker combo)
Sinead Laurel / Laurentine
Sinead Isolde
Sinead Alannah ("ah-LAN-uh" not "ah-LAH-nuh")
Sinead Eileen
Sinead Fleur
Sinead Carys
Sinead Iolanthe
That was tougher than I thought. Personally, I'd be using the mn Annmarie / Annemarie for honoring reasons so I never really tried anything else. There's only about three or four on that list above that I'm happy with. I'm interested to see what others have come up with. I hope you get a chance to use Sinead and I hope you find *the* perfect mn for it. Happy hunting! :-)
