The pronunciation isn't intuitive for English-speakers but a lot of people are familiar with the singer. I don't really have any strong image/impression for Sinead, maybe because I don't care for the sound of it, so I just always "skip on down" and never pay much attention to it. I am seeing it as yellow now that I stop to consider it. I do like Mairead; it's just the "shi" beginning I'm not fond of. I've never liked the "sha" ending of Natasha either. I guess I'm funny about "sh"s. Never the less, when I read Sinead Rose I immediately thought it a nice combo.
