I have a friend with a daughter named Tiger-Lily. I've said it so many times it seems normal to me, although I did think it was a bit out there when I first heard it.

Actualy, why fruit, and not vegetables?

Apple, Cherry, Persimon (I know one of these.)

but not Carrot.Or Celery.

Perhaps because fruit is sweet?
