I'd have seven, since the community would be responsible for their welfare and mine. And I'd give them really astonishing names:

(b) Garth
(b) Claud
(b) Brett
(g) Pat
(g) Sandi
(g) Minnie
(g) Brenda

This will ensure their anonymity when working away from home.
