You can set up a new account and ask Mike C to delete your old one. I mean, if you plan to keep posting here a lot, which you do obviously, it would make your life easier. You can still keep Lily as your posting name. Just use another email that you DO use.

Oh great, I will write to him tomorrow. The thing is, I was registered as Lily8 but changed my user name to Lily. When I tried to register as Lily years ago the user name was taken but I never encountered another user named Lily here so is it possible that I can use it for my new account? Just wondering.

Your username and posting name do not have to be the same thing. You are the only person who posts on this board as Lily, so that is your posting name, and you can keep it regardless of your username that you use to log in. There can be a gazillion variations of Lily as a username, though, so that doesn't matter. However, if just Lily is taken as a username, you'll still have to modify it to be Lily8 or something else.
