I have always said it Ti-MEE-us or Tim-AE-us, but MYE us works too. That is not good with my combo, though - Lucian Gaius Timaeus. (this is a character of mine, he goes by Gaius, his father's name is Lucius.)

I am always intrigued by non-Roman names that end in S.
