Brett Elizabeth or Boris Koloman.
in reply to a message by Evey
I've liked Brett lately, for whatever reason. Elizabeth is my number one favorite so I'd hate to not use it at all, and it's a nice obviously feminine balance for the ambiguous Brett. Or Roberta Elizabeth, if I get to cheat. ;-)And Boris is just a long-standing favorite that's taking its turn as the theoretical forerunner. :-P Especially if this mysterous last minute baby is mine and mine alone to name! If little Boris took issue with his name and wanted a nickname I'd encourage Kolo, which I love (but I can't find a satisfactory middle for Koloman, so it's more or less not moving from the middle point).

I like Brett Elizabeth. It's very Hemingway, sleek and sophisticated.I stumble over Boris Koloman and almost say Boris Karloff. Boris is not really my style, but I think I'd like it more if it was not combined with a K middle name.

BorisBoris isn't really my style, either, but it's just one of those names I can't shake. :-) Koloman is actually the only name I like with it that I've come up with so far--it's a tough one to pair something with for me. Things either sound really mismatched or over-the-top stereotypically Slavic, know what I mean?Would you buy Boris Emil, aesthetics of Boris aside?

I like it! Boris Emil gets a thumbs up from me.

Good. :-)I'm starting to like it the more that I look at it. That's good news for me; Boris is a hard one to put in a combo.
