[Facts] Need Some Middleground
My husband and I are going to have a baby boy. My tendencies for naming lean towards the classic unusual (actual names, but quite unusual) like Ransom and Clive , and even maybe Gryphon.
My husband is your all American classic, and he prefers names like Evan and Jack . Names that can easily fit on a little league roster, maybe.
Anyway, we both want a name that isn't on the top 100 list if possible, but cannot find a happy meeting point.
Does anybody have any suggestions?
Thanks,
Elle

Why don't you try browsing through the names on the lower halves of the top 1000 lists? There are several such lists located here:

Cool suggestion, Mike! Sorry I didn't think of it. :)
You may get a few suggestions here, but you're bound to get a whole lot more suggestions if you take your query to:

This board mainly deals with the etymology of first names (and some anagramming), whereas Haggisbutt deals with personal preferences, baby name discussion, etc.
